Cambridge IGCSE 0580 Extended · 36 topic papers · 1,585 marks
Paper 2 is non-calculator — 2 hours, 100 marks, and half of your final grade. Every Paper 2 below is written so it can be done entirely by hand: answers in terms of π, exact surds, and trigonometry only at 0°, 30°, 45°, 60° and 90°. Put the calculator in another room before you start one.
Paper 4 allows a calculator, so those papers use realistic, awkward numbers on purpose.
These are topic papers, not full 100-mark exams — 40 marks in 45 minutes (Paper 2) or 50 marks in 55 minutes (Paper 4), so one fits inside a study evening. Seven are a little shorter: their questions on box plots and loci were taken out because those are no longer on the syllabus. They are written papers with mark schemes, not multiple choice: you write your answer, then mark yourself against Cambridge-style M (method), A (answer) and B marks. Award yourself the method mark even when the final answer came out wrong — that is exactly what the real examiner does.
